Re: New MOC: "Ranger" Dual-Role Mecha

(...) Thanks Trevor! The fin, oh, I guess it's the company's trademark (this mecha wasn't made by the "Military"). It's too thin to be anything else. ;-) (...) Hmmm... Here's what's going on with me and LDraw: I'm gonna convert all my inlined .DAT (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New MOC: Erghiez

Hi all, Here's the Erghiez. Being as I'm in a bit of a hurry, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. (URL) (23 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Gomgile; The GG Mech, a Grey - Green Biomechanoid.

(...) artful fanciful style rather than practical and industrial. On a planet of cybernetic beings they would probably make their bodies ornate like this just to amuse themselves as existence can get kind of boring when you are immortal. They weld (...)   Re: Gomgile; The GG Mech, a Grey - Green Biomechanoid.

If ever there was LEGO art, this would be it. Absolutely freaking stunning. There isn't a spot on this beauty I don't like. Eric, this is by far the best thing I've seen from you. So very organic and "flowing" and stuff. I especially like the chest (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: Gomgile; The GG Mech, a Grey - Green Biomechanoid.

Eric, You know you da man! GG is finally "done" ;-) Much more organic than RR and the Big Bot. There are so many things I like about her. I can't wait to see it IRL! Oh and my fav is how she chews like an old lady with no teeth :-D Simply (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Has anyone tried this yet...

I was just playing Zone of the Enders and i noticed that Jehuty has a pretty simple design and i am going to drop my current MACCO project and atept to make a Jehuty model I should have a prototype done i about 2 weeks so wish me luck (23 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Gomgile; The GG Mech, a Grey - Green Biomechanoid.

Man, it seems so many people are having trouble with signing in. Anyways . . . Beautiful work Eric. What I like about your work are the details. Details that you can sit and observe for minutes if not hours. This mech is no exception. I've always (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: New MOC: NH-1 'Eisen'

(...) Very nice, a evolutionary advancement from the tiger, well exectued. (...) mmm...mmm. Articulation. You can never have too much. (...) I really like the detail at the knee when I first looked at it I had to do a double take. sun (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: THE FOUNDRY . . .

(...) I think it will be. I've seen everyone's talent shoot through the roof this past year. (...) Thanks, I'll be doing another update soon. A lot more photo tips with specific examples as that is what people seem to need information on the most. (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: THE FOUNDRY . . .

(...) You are very correct. I cannot label a toy "valkyrie" or "Zaku" if they are trademarked or copyrighted. But in this case they are not. If you go to the US Patent and Trademark Office and do a search you will note that "Zaku" is nowhere to be (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Gomgile; The GG Mech, a Grey - Green Biomechanoid.

Eric, Like Chris, I thought you were headed in a completely different direction when I first saw the GG mech. I'm glad I was wrong! What's you've done with Gomgile simply has NO comparison in the mech world. Gomgile stands on it's own. So I have to (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture)

(...) Now witnes the firepower of this fully armed and operational battles station! Ok, so maybe this doesn't fit the case, but it is good to see the GG-Mech finally complete, and it is one hell of a beast. The whole thing is absolutely perfect, a (...)   Re: Gomgile; The GG Mech, a Grey - Green Biomechanoid.

It's finally done! WOW! Truly stunning! The amount of parts used in this model probably rivals that of many collections. The detail level is also quite high, and many parts are very nicely contoured. New elements are used wonderfully as well. Here's (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: Gomgile; The GG Mech, a Grey - Green Biomechanoid.

(...) Eric, this is a truly amazing mecha you've built here. I must say, when I saw the "bust" in L.A., I thought you were going to go in a different direction with the legs and lower part; but I love what you've done with it. Judging from the (...)   Re: Gomgile; The GG Mech, a Grey - Green Biomechanoid.

Congrats. It's nice to see the big guy done. Simply, well, woof. I gotta know, what kind of stresses are on this beast? I've found that the bigger I go, I think I'm pushing the limits of Lego shearing factors. How heavy is it? How transportable? (...)
