Yes, as I've said before you have a very
artful fanciful style rather than practical and industrial.
On a planet of cybernetic beings
they would probably make their bodies ornate like this
just to amuse themselves as existence can get kind of
boring when you are immortal. They weld on bits
here and there and restyle themselves over the centuries.
Gomgile is probably considered a child on that world,
only a few thousand years old. They're so cute at this age.
The final adult form is barely recognizable as humanoid, more like a vast
technological conglomerate moving through interstellar space
in search of new forms of entertainment.
