  Re: THE FOUNDRY . . .

(...) Sun, Great site layout, and awesome models!!! I can't wait to see one of your Perfect Grade designs.... Mark Chan (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) model. I'm partial to the cockpit. Also I noticed that the click hinges on the legs give it some texture (that took me a bit to figure out). I approve of the more minimalist look of this mecha. Makes it look sleak and functional. You really (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: THE FOUNDRY . . .

Sun, Though I emailed you already. I thought I'd publicly tell you that the Foundry rocks! Super clean, excellent photography, something for me to aspire to!!! Later, Bryce (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New transforming space ship

Pat, Anything that transforms is by definition much more difficult than building either a mecha or a spaceship. I really like the spaceship. On the mecha I agree with your critique. That said, what really astounds me is that (to my knowledge) you (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: THE FOUNDRY . . .

(...) It's funny you ask. If you go into the articles section there is one of photo tips. You'll find all the answers you need there. One correction though, the matte I refer to is called seamless. I don't know why I keep on calling it matte. . . . (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: THE FOUNDRY . . .

(...) The beam sabers are from the large deluxe transforming Gundam toys. It's fits pretty nice into a Lego piece surprisingly enough. The escala was kind of a test model. I'm working on a huge epic story type project which kind of combines old (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: best mech pilots

(...) But can they wear helmets? Do they even need space helmets? I'm rather partial to the Rock Raiders Jets minifig as a mech pilot, but then that's just because I really like that minifig :) She pilots almost all of my vehicles. Adrian (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: best mech pilots

(...) Monkeys also fit in a 2-wide space. They'd make plausible pilots, with basically four hands and a prehensile tail. And let's face it- who doesn't want a race of superintelligent space monkeys piloting his mechs? -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: Z-22 Mobile Defence Platform

(...) Exactly! Greeblies for greeblies sake ends up with something that looks like a pile of clutter. Even when you use lots of them, you've got an art in making everything look like it should really be there, even if it is a shovel in most other (...)   Re: best mech pilots

(...) You know what? I was just thinking of the same thing. I recently picked up a 2001 Racers set, and despite the overall sillyness of the set, it did occour to me that the little 2X2 monster driver would make a passable alien mech pilot, and take (...)
