Re: The Debut of The Legomaster's Lego Continuum

Cool Eric! Great site! I really should get to work on mine... -Geordan- (...) (23 years ago, 19-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: Swinger Version 3

No need to apologize. I'm 23, and if I want to take some pictures, I have to borrow a camera. I can't justify spend money on a camera at this point in time. I was mainly interested in some full torso shots. Maybe in the future. Then again, maybe not (...) (23 years ago, 19-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: new member

hey, thanks The legs were always the hardest part to start with. Particuarily with reverse-knee mechs you have to deal with all that wieght being placed on the heel of the foot. Actually with Ram, the toes go back and forth freely because there is (...) (23 years ago, 19-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: new member Check this guy out!

Hey, thanks for the input. I'm gonna try messing around brick shelf. Look for me to post here when I try it out Mark (23 years ago, 19-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOCs

Thanks! I work mostly in brown/tan because the best bang for the buck (with the right parts for this project anyway) is the Pit Droid. BTW, I found several of them at the local Wal-Mart a couple of weeks ago on clearance for $4 ea. I bought them (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: New MOCs

(...) As usual, Paul....I'm in awe! These are both fantastic, though I prefer the brown one. Anyone who can work successfully with Lego's worst color (tan) gets serious points in my book. Kudos! -Dave (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Swinger 3 Unveiled

(...) Ahh... nevermind... you already knew it was here.. mainly because you run Jain's Guide and I run most of my MOCs through there... (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Swinger 3 Unveiled

(...) ...Hey! I liked it too... I'm just a slacker and don't reply to most posts :-) looks like it would be fun in a brikwars game with that long reach. --- wubwub wubwub@wildlink.com jains.has.it <-- Jain's Guide www.sitcatsit.com <-- a guy and his (...) (...) Jersey... what would that mean? I have no access to digital cameras or photo equiptment that would allow me to get high-quality photos I apologize for the lack of quality in the photos.. but that's the best I could muster given the situation.   Re: New MOC: Swinger Version 3

(...) Yeah, I agree, I probably should stop being so hard on myself... but I just seem to get so little feedback I sort of get this idea that some people really don't like my style. Plus my style probably will develop once I get a job and a start a (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: new member

Wow I like these, the legs and feet are so detailed and well designed. My very first mech attempts were of the bird leg type but they fell apart very easily. yours look really sturdy. I love how you have the interal stuff built into the model. I (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New MOCs

I posted a couple of new MOCs on Brickshelf and thought you might like to check them out. Suggestions/Comments welcome. Paul (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: New MOC: Swinger Version 3

Interesting concept. Next time, could you provide some close ups. The only thing I would suggest right now is to redo the legs. At the very least, add some bulk to the feet. I always have difficulty creating feet. If you need ideas, there are plenty (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The "Centrite Carona" Hardsuit.

Not bad for a first attempt. Simple, but it works. Don't hesitate to experiment. If you would like suggestions for your next MAU, try different limb designs and maybe add some dimension to the torso. Keep the head though; it has a nice helmet shape (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: Swinger Version 3

(...) Hey Peter, No one is dismissing your mech like it was nothing, and guess what, judging by the images you do not need any building suggestions. The unique thing about build.mech is that the majority of people here have their completely unique (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: new member Check this guy out!

(...) Here is Mark's definition Mladen was talking about: Let me just start off with this. Mechs to me, means Battlemechs. Not Mecha. Mecha are elegant Japanese things. Beautiful to behold powerful, invoke awe and have a samurai like appeal to them. (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

WOW! Some truly awe-inspiring stuff you got there Mark. ;-) The mecha... Excellent Tank... Terrific Other Stuff... Great BTW your definition and comparison of "mecha" and "mech" was dead-on perfect! ;-D Also, I thought I was the only one fooling (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
