  Re: small rocket mounting

(...) I (...) In recent years my MOC's have all been non-violent, but in my KFOL days, I made a lot of heavily armed spacecraft. My preferred technique for mounting missiles was to take the 1x1 plate with "hand" and attach it to the underside of the (...)   Re: small rocket mounting

(...) Heres an idea: you know those quasi-useless straws that were found in many of the SW sets (I think peeron calls them 'Technic Flex System Hose'). Anyway. they seem to be *exactly* the right outer-diameter to push thru a sequence of 1x1 round (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: small rocket mounting

Build a 1x1 "headlight" into the body of the missle? That way it can be attached many different ways. I use this all the time. Here, I even found the part: (URL) non-LEGO solution is to use the round version of this part: (URL) MEGABLOCKS or one of (...)   Re: Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

Very nice mecha. I like the backstory. What strikes me most about this mecha is the organic hunched feel. The posture really gives it personality. Good articulation on the neck as well. The posability of the head help with the whole personality (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New units for Terran Security Force and Beltworlds Alliance

(...) Thanks, I get get it now, I knew it had something to do with electromagnets but didn't know what they did. I wonder if you could make one of these out of lego that actually worked. It might, the bullet would be a magnet, with two magnets at (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) you're really attached to that idea. I think it looks cool the way it is. I like the "toes" and the way the arms seem very poseable. Cool! ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New units for Terran Security Force and Beltworlds Alliance

(...) Colin, your MOCs were what inspired me to build my Enforcer last year and get involved with LUGNet. Anyway, I like how your new mecha have a unified look, and the backstory support the look with interesting ideas about different manufacturers. (...)   small rocket mounting

Has anyone come up with a good solution for mounting 1x1 round rockets/missles horizontally to the underside of wings or onto the back of armoured vehicles. I am trying to work up some nice, detachable missle racks for BrickWars. I would love to see (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Unfortunatlly there are only 4 ball & socket joints in the Storm trooper. neck, left and right shoulder and left elbow. I chose wrong the first time I picked. I'll have to check out Pohatu.   Re: Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

(...) I like it very much! It has a more organic feel than most mecha models. The construction doesn't seem as polished as others I've seen, but it's still far superior to anything I could do. Hey there, LFB! I like it! I like it! Your 'Toad' walker looks like an AT-ST on steroids...it has a nice bulky look to it without actually being bulky.
