Hi, everyone! Seeing the general buzz that's always in .build.mecha and my desire to continue procrastinating on this grant proposal, I've been inspired to risk rendering a 20-year- old design into LEGO. It's from a universe I've been working on (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.build) !

John, A few of us got together to 'do the math' on the various sets that contain the 'ball with axle-hole' part in them. We discovered that, using retail prices only, Pohatu was by far the best deal. OMIGOD that is just so awseome. Wow! Yiesh!!!!! Besides being completely blown away, I too have trouble photographing the all Black creations I have. (...) Use more light sources, all the same "temperature" (don't mix halogen, flourescent and incadescent), from different angles, and diffuse it.
