  Re: Scorpio transport mecha

(...) What does shameless plug mean? And why is it bad form? I'm still(after a year here) learnin' -Geordan- (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Scorpio transport mecha

Cool mecha Dave. But I've already told you this face to face. I really like the whole Zodiac line idea. It reminds me of the marketing idea behind the first Mustangs. It's kinda of a bummer about the LUGOLA pics scooping you, but hey no time like (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: a small insignificant survey

(...) Depends on how much I like the creation, and how badly I want the parts for something new. My Hardygun and Helldog II have been intact since April, before the LLC gathering. I think my longest-lived creation was my Enforcer mecha, which was (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: A good day for mecha? You decide...

(...) I've been using T-bot joins since they first came out. This is the first time I've tried to use them as the basis for a line of mecha. You raised the bar on me, as a couple of my early attempts look like your Shocktrooper. I love your (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: A good day for mecha? You decide...

(...) I try! Wait 'til you see what I have planned for Virgo and Leo.... -Dave (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: A good day for mecha? You decide...

(...) Oddly enough, Eric, I still haven't worked all the available colors into my mecha. That will change by the end of the Zodiac project. My main holdup right now is a lack of parts from the large LOM set. I'll get them shortly, though... -Dave (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: A good day for mecha? You decide...

(...) CDs? Hmmm..where are the studs on these things anyway? Blacklight is good..... (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: A good day for mecha? You decide...

(...) Thanks. Originally the colorscheme had teal substituted for tan, but I just didn't care for it. (...) Thanks. It's my favorite theme, by far. Nothing else even comes close. (...) On the bottom of the webpage you'll see some lyrics. I almost (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Scorpio transport mecha

(...) LOL! My mechs aren't trying to be fashionable, but blending in with the scenery... After all, if you sent a red mech into the forest, wouldn't it be spotted much more slowly than a green mech? ;-) -Dave (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Scorpio transport mecha

(...) Libra (...) side. (...) tomorrow. (...) can (...) Sounds cool Dave! I like what I see so far. Your mecha always seem so over-dressed for battle (I'm referring to the colour scheme). Their greatest weapon is their sense of fashion (or lack (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Scorpio transport mecha

Well, Brad let the cat out of the bag with this picture: (URL) hadn't planned on showing it publicly(LUGNET-wise) until all the pods were finished on it, but there it sits on the bottom right hand corner of the picture. The other Zodiac Mecha are (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: a small insignificant survey

(...) Great question, Geordan! I keep them alive for quite awhile. At least a year. Warthog was re-built after being sold, as was Xerxes. Overkill had a big fall and was altered to become Overkill Mk.II. After it's even worse fall, I'm not (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: a small insignificant survey

(...) Depends. If I really, really like it, and have perfected it, it has/will stay around. If not, Bye-Bye it goes! (...) The number of parts is always an issue. If any of my creations take a lot of rare pieces, I'll enter it into CAD and then (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: a small insignificant survey

(...) My mechs stay alive forever or until they fall and can't be reassebled because of my lack of memory. But other than that they are still intact. (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  a small insignificant survey

Just out of intrest, how long do most people keep their creations alive for? In other words, how long do you wait to throw your mech off the third floor?(just kidding) I know Bryce and Eric keep all of their mechs alive, but I'm wondering about the (...)   Re: Today is a good Day for Mecha

(...) Well, I don't know what was happening on the East Coast, but at LUGOLA we had a mecha meeting of the minds. I'd love to reveal everything that happened, but all I can reveal is that I revealed Scorpio publicly for the first time. Oh, (...) (23 years ago, 5-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Today is a good Day for Mecha

(...) Thanks! I'm looking forward to seeing it! Is it bipedal or multi legged? One way to make it so people got a fair share of the replies would be to put it all in one post with links to everyone's mechs, hey this could really work! ok, how many (...)   Re: Today is a good Day for Mecha

Your so enthusiastic! I love that about you. The most I can say is that I have made good progress on my new Mech. If we did all post on the same day I hope everyone gets equal repiles on the anouncement posts. Eric (...) (23 years ago, 5-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Today is a good Day for Mecha

Okay so If I translate this, it means that someone has something up their sleeve on the west coast too! hooray! Bryce? please say Bryce! or Mark of course, or Sun or Dave and the list goes on. Me too! I have something done too, not too shabby IMO (...) (23 years ago, 5-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Today is a good Day for Mecha

Gents, Today is a good Day for Mecha, far and wide many things lay on the horizon. Stay tuned. I just know new creations are on their way. As well, Yesterday was indeed a Good Day for Mecha too. Coast to Coast. Shhh I'm Building. Eric (...) (23 years ago, 5-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
