True, Battletech uses the assault classification. However, to me, assault implies something that is bulky, relatively slow, and generally loaded with weapons. Look at the Stormbringer on my site to see what prompted my question about sizes. (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

There are really good second-generation "conference" type cameras like this year's batch from (URL) . The USB models are $120 with 350k- pixels. They're dinky and come on about 24 inches of leash. Aw, shucks. You flatter me. Really, most of the ideas I just took straight from Gundam and implemented in Lego form... the head most obviously. A lot of the stuff just sort of developed on its own. I REALLY like that Darkstar fighter. Very nice look to it, like it came right out of an Anime movie. Ah, looks like you looked to the Tallgeese for the rocketpods on your mecha. Very nice. Heavens! It's huge! I *really* like the backpack/rocketpods/wings/etc. one the back. Must the time of year for BIG mecha. Blacktron stuff was great for black wing pieces... so was Space Police. Unfortunately, I need more black "wall" pieces. It's hard to make all-black stuff with any substantial internal volume. Looking at the low-level dumps of incoming HTTP post data, a copy of your message as it was received by the webserver (before it went to the newsserver) (...) Whoo! Great stuff Mark! I really like the back pack for the shoulder cannon. The fold out missle pods are impressive too. It's obvious you've put a lot of time into this.
