Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

<snip> (...) Dude, I always read your descriptions! One of my favorites is the description for your satellite! Christopher (23 years ago, 20-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

(...) used various parts on it. I hadn't really considered building any microfig mechs before, but after seeing yours, and Jeremy's and others, I am tempted... Excellent job! Christopher (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: What the *bleep* is Brickfest!? and Flexiclaw, one of my best mechs

All your mecha have really good overall design and you have pretty cool ideas regarding your weapons. I like the idea of a "crushing arm." You know, I might try that sometime... it's a good idea...I'll put it on my "red" mecha. pictures of that (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

(...) From dictionary.com: heav·y adj. heav·i·er, heav·i·est 1.Having relatively great weight: a heavy load. 2.Having relatively high density; having a high specific gravity. 3. ---> a.Large, as in number or quantity: a heavy turnout; heavy (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

(...) well your description does say "heavy" and last time i checked, heavy is still umm.. heavy. maybe change some of the wording, like "must rely on its speed and _advanced_ armor. i dunno, just my opinion, but like you say below: (...) totally (...)   Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

Are you telling me that in the future armour will still be heavy? LOL! Some tanks and other war machines are heavily armoured but still quite fast and maneuverable. Sure, they might not be fast when compared to other vehicles, but they are still (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

snipped from your website: "... the 'White Rabbit' must rely on its speed and heavy armour to survive battles..." i dunno, but doesn't that seem a bit oxymoronic, speed and heavy armour? i'm currently building a mech along the same guidelines, one (...)   Re: What the *bleep* is Brickfest!? and Flexiclaw, one of my best mechs

(...) Just a heads up to anyone that visits the site-- Actually, really just the base level: (URL) it wants people viewing the page to use Comet Cursors, a known security risk. It actually doesn't do anything harmful to your PC, but the program (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: What the *bleep* is Brickfest!? and Flexiclaw, one of my best mechs

(...) I'll at least answer your question about submitting your site - go to Cool Lego Site of the Week page (you'll find a link on the LUGNET home page). Scroll down to the bottom of the page and just underneath the button that allows you to submit (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Thanks Peter! (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

Well, it's small, quick, and wickedly lethal, I say, it is a success. I've never really thought of building a miniature mecha, but it is an interesting idea, unfortunatley such a mecha would most likely get crushed when in my version of lego combat. (...)   Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

(...) Wonderland for yaz* I like this Mladen, the footwork is good, with the way it has that high-heel type. The sword kicks butt too. Nice job! Rick "Where the heck are those reinforcments!?" (URL) (23 years ago, 19-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

What the *bleep* is Brickfest!? and Flexiclaw, one of my best mechs

I'm sort of curious as to exactly what it is, y'know, primarily because everyone keeps talking about it, and stuff similar to that, and no one answered my question as to how I submit a site for site of the week, and another thing, I want everyone to (...)   New mecha, the Maverick MK1

Here's my most recent mecha, the maverick. It's not really anything much but it's kind of cool. I wanted to build the torso of it in the shape of a buffalo's because it makes the mech look a little "tougher" regardless of size, I think I succeeded (...)   Re: Mecha at Brickfest?

(...) ...I don't know how many mecha builders are going to be there (tho unfortunately, some of the "big names" cant make it this year :-( But I'm sure your mecha will make a big hit (and be _way_ cool to watch in a brickwars game! :-) I cant wait (...)   Re: Heavy artillery mech: the MP 802

school is out to day so I should be able to get some major construction done, maybe finished by the weekend? (...) yah I'm thinking that it'll be red with grey highlights cuz my red collection is limited to fairly basic bricks (...) thanks! Geordan (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

(...) Very true. One thing to aid the building, I do use a 1x8 tile and use the flat end to stick into tight places and press things down where my fingers can't get (i.e., damn near everywhere on minimechs :-) (...) Aye, come Brickfest, I'll have (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
