Are you telling me that in the future armour will still be heavy? LOL!

well your description does say "heavy" and last time i checked, heavy is
still umm.. heavy. maybe change some of the wording, like "must rely on its
speed and _advanced_ armor. i dunno, just my opinion, but like you say below:

From dictionary.com:

heav·y
  adj. heav·i·er, heav·i·est

1.Having relatively great weight: a heavy load.
2.Having relatively high density; having a high specific gravity.
    3.
--->     a.Large, as in number or quantity: a heavy turnout; heavy casualties.
b.Large in yield or output: heavy rainfall.
4.Of great intensity: heavy activity; heavy fighting.

Last statement:

My universe, my rules...

totally agree. i was merely pointing out the semantics. much like "jumbo
shrimp" and "pretty ugly".

Yeah... However, I do understand why you thought it was weird. ;-)
Next time I'll be more careful... ;-)

BTW I'm glad somebody actually reads my stupid model • descriptions/backstories.

LOL, i'm toying with the idea of creating some sort of backstory to my mecha
and how it relates to the others, but then i'll have to create the city in
which they stand guardian for... etc etc... it never ends. and do the
majority of lugnetters read that stuff or just cruise through for the pics?

I bet most people don't read it. I only read short descriptions. However, if it
is a real thoughtful and part of the presentation I'll read.

BTW good luck with your mecha!

battles..."

i dunno, but doesn't that seem a bit oxymoronic, speed and heavy armour?

i'm currently building a mech along the same guidelines, one built for speed
for quick strike missions, in n out, no mess no fuss and "heavy armour"
really doesn't convey that kind of ability/function.

just my one gripe. other than that, it's a fine piece!

Hope you all enjoy it, cause I had fun trying to see how many white 1x2 • bars
and 2x2 dishes I could use on this mecha! ;-)
