Appleseed is an anime MOVIE, so therefore the only way to watch it is by renting it. And the movie doesn't really explain a whole lot about the mobile platform. Like I said, I was inspired by it, doesn't mean that I exactly followed every "rule" or (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(URL) more experimentation, simple directional blur on parts of the image conveys motion (left arm, top of gun, gun discharge). Still haven't figured out how to do realistic lighting effects without a real light source. "K" (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Sheesh I'm pretty slow, I've been replying to these posts since I got home from school and I just figured out that maybe I should watch this movie "appleseed" before I start rambling on about how my mecha works and it's name etc. Is it downloadable (...) Everybit of inspiration came from mladen. the only animeish show I watch is Dragonball Z although gundam looks pretty enticing but I don't have the channel that it's on in my area. If you're planning on building one of these things 100% of the (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Thanks, Mladen (MAP Master). It's good to know that. Ya I am planning on completeing the Robot. It's gonna look like this one sort of: (URL) had to take a break for awhile, ie; RG Mech. I think the best thing we had was Water Rockets in the ball field fo Phyical Science class. Also it's kinda funny, the guy who invited me, his nic-name is "Legoman" He made a point of calling me the "Legomaster" ; my nic-name :) Thanks.... Eric (...) Indeed, most of the students in the class slapped a pair of wheels onto a RCX and that was that. Part of what I tried to enstill in them was: This is what's possible, so why not make it a reality, Same goes for other aspects of their own lives, Make (...) Thank you, most of the students could'nt belive that the Robot used no glue, they had a hard time understanding that the whole structure stayed together under it's own construction. Cross bracing beams is the key. Also they were'nt familair with the (...) (23 years ago, 31-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
