SigmaTek has finished the construction of an Airlock Unit for the Medical
Pod, as well as furniching the pod itself. the pod has space for six
patients, all beds are equipped with life-function monitors, which can be
observed from the doctor's station located near the doors. the Airlock is
designed for use in either deep space or undersea, and is equipped with two
hardsuits for medical personnel. the weight of the airlock attachment makes
the SP-44 unstable on normal terrain and must be fitted immediately before
launch. no other modifications have been made to the unit at this time.
