Hey all. I finished my first "small" mecha. I decided a while ago to try and make a "buffed out" throwbot piece based mech. I was trying to capture the "feel" of a gorilla and still keep it a mecha. (...) Evangelion was the first (and only, so far) anime I really got into. I've been hoping somebody would do one of the EVA's or maybe one of the Angels (although they're not as mech-like). are there any sets out on the market ( or anybody willing to sell) that have a lot of good pieces for making mechs, spacecraft , and other sci-fi pices. im at a real shortage rite now. im esp. looking for hinges, turnables, etc to make mecha joints, (...) I cringed because mine wasn't that good (and the bits that were good looked like I was copying yours -- I wanted to go back and redo it and make it look more original). (...) In regards to the arms and legs on the first valk; it doesn't handle weight well. I did my best to do what I could.
