  Re: Anago Battle Armor

(...) This just plain rules. My BrikWars army may have to, ah, purchase a few suits. eric (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Anago Battle Armor

Hi All, I have returned from a three-week break sans Internet, and I come bearing gifts of powered armor. I give you the Anago: (URL) Here we see test pilot Simon Sakai next to the Pacifican Alliance's newest weapon, the Anago. (URL) Simon, fully (...)   Re: Dark Gundam 03 - feet

(...) Putting the background in shadow gives a better sense of depth and creates the desired atmosphere. This can certainly make it hard to see things if you have a dim monitor. (URL) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Dark Gundam 03 - feet

Is it my monitor or is the image sposed to be dark? -- Kenneth A. Drumm Ph.D. who thinks its his monitor. "Klaupacius" <klaupacius@aol.com> wrote in message news:G6vI2K.Byr@lugnet.com... (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Dark Gundam 03 - feet

(URL) construction of the feet and ankle joints of Unit 03 mostly completed, workers enjoy a moment of amusement riding the hoist. "K" (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Thanks much! eric (24 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Fuji Power Armor

(...) Thanks! (...) I guess that all depends what kind of arms are expected to be fired at it. :D eric (24 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Fuji Power Armor

(...) Thanks! Keep an eye out, I have a few models sitting around that I haven't posted anywhere yet. My main limiting factor at the moment is daylight- by the time I get out of work it's dark out, so I don't have natural light to take photos in, (...) (...) <snip> (...) Nice job! It definitely has that "chunky" tough look to it. ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Fuji Power Armor

(...) Nice job from an engineering perspective but in regards to your "walking tank than a work of art" comment, I think it's way too flat. Some rounded edges would probably be added to an actual mecha to increase deflection of arms fire. Just my (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Fuji Power Armor

(...) I am not much of a mecha fan, but your model is pretty cool. I think it captures the look of a working, serious mech. I look forward to seeing more of your MOC's on Brickshelf! (24 years ago, 7-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Fuji Power Armor

I recently created a Brickshelf account and uploaded pics of my latest creation, Fuji Power Armor. (URL) goal when building the armor was to create a mech along the lines of the Scopedog and those in Heavy Gear-- small, bulky armor that looks more (...)   Re: New Bug Mecha @ Moonbase Io

(...) I suppose that the cockpit/cabin has a powersuit feel to it, but with the Lycosid being an arthropod instead of an anthropoid type mecha, its hard to draw a connection. Of course if you're thinking of the missle rack and medium pulse cannon as (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: New Bug Mecha @ Moonbase Io

(...) Lycosid looks a lot like a power suit. I like the range of movement the ball & socket joints give your models. I'd like to see this one go up against your shocktrooper. Bryce (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
