  Re: different idea for cockpit

(...) Check out "lugnet.cad"... I used MLCAD to "render" (display) my DAT file (Lego-CAD *_data_* file), and then I used L3P (and L3P-Add-On) to create the necessary POV code to ray-trace the image. Then, I used MSPhotoEditor to convert the bitmap (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.cad)

  Re: different idea for cockpit

(...) Awesome! Is it top-heavy, though? Really neat design, but I can never be satisfied unless a model has lots of firepower. Why not mount a swivel turret underneath the joint, and include a vertical hinge. Then you'll have a powerful, (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  different idea for cockpit

(If you reply to this message, please follow-up to the appropriate, specific newsgroup. Thanks. :-) I came up with what I thought was an unusual orientation for a cockpit for a spaceship or mecha. I quickly built a set of mecha legs for it, and (...) (24 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: New Creation @ Moonbase Io

(...) Cool mecha. It looks like battle armor for your shocktrooper. The smaller arms are a nice touch. Bryce (24 years ago, 6-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase Io Update

Hey, I like that Roadrunner. Always a fan of leggy mechs with relatively tiny bodies. I especially like the droid idea you're building up. Autonomous work machines with those green pod sensor arrays...very cool. The drone is cool too, BTW. Keep it (...) (24 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.general)
