I really like the way that looks. Really. It's a lot like
something that I've done with pods in the past--in my case,
I used two Shark's Crystal Cave sets (for the trans-orange
canopy extensions plus 4x6 canopies) and built a free-standing
all-glass "module" that installed into a red chassis that
looked for all the world like Maximilian in "The Black Hole."
Your design is, of course, about ten times as elegant as
that blocky thing was! I especially like the installation
of those levers--without them it would look like a sleeper
pod (not a bad idea, actually).

I think the legs actually provide the perfect complement--I'd
have to see the command pod on some other creation to really
have an opinion on its applications. However I keep thinking
"land squid" when I look at it...
