Hello mecha friends. I have not seen anyone from build.mecha (forgive me if someone did and I missed it) talk about the new theme. I would also like to try this. I really like the subject (very cool looking) and I'd like to give it a shot. I've never built anything mecha before, so this will be a nice new challenge. Although I'm already kinda afraid of the rest of y'all ;) C. (19 years ago, 23-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I think the weapon is my favourite part. The shoulders look good too. Interesting work at a small scale. I find it ammusing that the minifig-legs-as-fingers trick works at such a range of scales. Have it say the image belongs to Master Gla and give proper credits and info etc. Having a text file in the gallery that lists a proper disclaimer I believe the right (...) As mentioned in the abysmally long thread, I am also in. 9 months is enough time for this build. I only wish the scale were a tad bit bigger (18 inches), but 12 inches at the shoulder will be a nice scale challenge. -Dave (19 years ago, 22-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  The Soren Building Challenge
 
Several builders have privately agreed to do Soren's build anyway just for fun. The "group" for lack of a better term would like to re-open it to .mecha. We are following the original rules posted in Soren's challenge: "We’re building this: (URL) (...) (19 years ago, 22-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)
