As usual I really don't know where this fits, so it's here in .mecha. Vampire bat made for Halloween. The body itself is small. Features my new wing design which essentially allows for huge light translucent wings. I plan on making a dragon sometime (...) (19 years ago, 19-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha) !!

  Quadrachnid update: Omega version
 
The Quadrachnid Omega version has larger legs than its predecessor and features a variation on Marcus Clancy's dual-ball joint assembly (Thanks again, MC). (...) The knees are pretty much a rip off from my previous ogre design, except they are mounted to the lower leg and are mobile. I wanted the back of the mech to look especially sleek, which explains the arms and back, but i kind of forgot about the (...) (19 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I saw the thumbnail on Brickshelf and recognized your style immediately. I'll second the comments about the back, I like the hoses, greebs and the podracer fins on the legs and back. From someone else who is periodically absent from Lugnet, 'occupying' is the word ; ) I won't risk an in-depth comment as I can't build Mecha but the overall impression (key in all themes) is good and conveys the speed of which you speak.
