  Re: Power Armor Updates

(...) Finally! I'm so happy to see you're still working on your hard-suits, David. :-) (...) I always say that your last hard-suit is the best, but this one really comes close to perfection. The legs are so compact and yet still have thickness to (...) (19 years ago, 15-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: A new MOC: The Hayabusa

(...) Well dang! I'm glad you could tell my style apart from others! (...) hmmm, that actually seems like a really good idea. I do have some 1x4's and alot of pins hanging around, i think i'll give your suggestion a whirl... (...) Ugh, tell me about (...) (19 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: A new MOC: The Hayabusa

(...) Thanks for the response Marco! I was definitely going for the big but agile look, and im glad you noticed! I kind of took the idea of a starfox arwing when making the torso, and i figured what makes something look even faster? WINGS! Now that (...) (19 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: A new MOC: The Hayabusa

(...) The knees are pretty much a rip off from my previous ogre design, except they are mounted to the lower leg and are mobile. I wanted the back of the mech to look especially sleek, which explains the arms and back, but i kind of forgot about the (...) (19 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: A new MOC: The Hayabusa

(...) Well, the only reason the forearms are black is that i only had those wierd 2x2 oddly slopped bricks in black, but i guess i can try and redesign them to be a little slimmer (and brown). The shoulders were definately a challange and i guess i (...) (19 years ago, 12-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Another fine Brickshelf find: InterCepter

That foot design is so simple, but so perfect for a mech that size. I will have to steal that. Kerouac rules. (19 years ago, 8-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: A new MOC: The Hayabusa

I saw the thumbnail on Brickshelf and recognized your style immediately. I'll second the comments about the back, I like the hoses, greebs and the podracer fins on the legs and back. I also like the knee armor, although I would suggest that you (...) (19 years ago, 8-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: A new MOC: The Hayabusa

(...) Hello Frank, hope you get bored more often! This looks pretty cool. Your Hayabusa looks massive and agile at the same time. The wings you used on the back and the hose details are my favotites. The brown works pretty good with the light gray. (...) (19 years ago, 7-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Contact information for Sugegasa?

Hi all, Does anyone know how to contact the builder with the brickshelf ID (URL) Sugegasa>? I'm sure everyone in .mecha knows his work very well. Bruce (19 years ago, 5-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.loc.jp, lugnet.people, FTX)

Re: A new MOC: The Hayabusa

(...) Sweet! (...) Good point. (...) Oh hey, cool idea. (...) I very much like the Knees, the hinges over the front of the ankles, the long slopes on the back of the arms, the rear is well done. (...) Naw, don't bother, it went like this: I made (...) (19 years ago, 5-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: A new MOC: The Hayabusa

I've managed to (...) Yikes, throw away. Looking good. <snip> (...) This looks really good. the ones that get "thrown" together seem to work so nicely. I like the brown on gray, but the black doesn't help me. The forearms especially. The mech is (...) (19 years ago, 4-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Another fine Brickshelf find: InterCepter

(...) Heck yeah. Thanks Soren. Anyone else notice the nice use of the new racer fenders for shoulder covers... Excellent stuff indeed. Though I wonder how well this stands. Looks pretty flimsy. (19 years ago, 4-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: A new MOC: The Hayabusa

Nice MOC. From someone else who is periodically absent from Lugnet, 'occupying' is the word ; ) I won't risk an in-depth comment as I can't build Mecha but the overall impression (key in all themes) is good and conveys the speed of which you speak.   Another fine Brickshelf find: InterCepter

(URL) Ryoichi Takagaki's brightly colored, slender design hearkens back to the classic shape of Megazone 23's Garland Maneuver Slave (URL) while retaining a strong sense of originality. Excellent stuff. Soren (19 years ago, 4-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
