Hi everyone! It's been quite a while since I've posted anything. Well, I finished up my latest mecha and you can see it at (URL) should give some credit to Karim Nassar for a couple features, the chain gun was inspired by one of his models. The (...) Hi Mladen. I really like the cockpit entry. I've been toying with the idea of making something with a large central circular shape in the chest. You did a great job. ~Mark (24 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Thanks Dan! My "White Tiger" and "Maniac" mecha also have front opening hatches. (...) Didn't you already point this out about my "Maniac" (it also has exposed fuel tanks), but again, these tanks are reinforced, and also the infantry protects (...)   Re: New Mecha: "Troll" Infantry Support Mecha

(...) (I rarely see mecha's that do that). The only dissadvantage is the exposed fuel tanks in back. A back attack could destroy those, and it would cripple or destroy the mecha. Overall it's good. Chef (24 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Building Gundams

(...) You could spray paint your bricks. I wouldn't do that, but if you want looks, it ought to work. (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Ankles

You can get all technic parts you gonna need in order to build the ankles from current sets - if you just purchase supplementary packs you even won't have to spend much money. LEGO Technic Set 8226 "Off Roader" is a good source too. (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Ankles

(...) 'Fraid not. (...) I'm buying a new collection just for this one mech :p Several things. 1) No, my model isn't perfectly like the LDRAW version, as I lack a few of the angle pieces. (Those stupid perfectly-curved 3x2 bricks - what set do they (...) (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) ARGH! Drew, you're kidding, aren't you? :/ Are you sure you put together all sub-models as shown at the images? It is ESSENTIAL for the balance of the whole model (since it is really large) that you connect all parts at the right angle, and (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Ankles

I built Primus BuS' Marauder. I'm finished with it down to the ankles. However, the supplied design does not hold the mech's weight - it falls over backwards when I try and stand it up. So, is there any way to do an extremely strong ankle for such a (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Nope... never downloaded it as I have no CAD program, and I've not seen it either. I've been using that gun design for quite a while now. A coincidence I suppose. Greg "Yeah, we now know that having no arc sucks" Majewski (URL) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
