When you introduced the ZRX1 Frame you mentioned the very rare factory glued ball joints you used for the shoulders. Maybe the following idea could be utilised (...) Hands down this has got to be the coolest train MOC I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing. Chris. (20 years ago, 25-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: My latest venture into trains: 4-6-4 Locomotive

Adrian, that is amazing. Wow, just look at how you made that all work together. So very clever and really tough I bet! A great idea made real in LEGO. My goodness that's so cool. Bravo on your idea come true. Thank you. e (20 years ago, 25-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.trains)

It's not just a train, it's a Transformer! Cool design. I especially like the last picture in the Brickshelf gallery. ;-) Jeff (20 years ago, 25-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: My latest venture into trains: 4-6-4 Locomotive

It is impressive. At first I thought, "that's a good train, for a non-train builder". Then I saw the robot mode and said "ooo!". My eyes focused on the joints that glued it together because that's the hard part of transformation. You generally need (...)   Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie

(...) Just say no to steroids... This is another fine example of Ranjo Bionicle engineering. The hands rule - maybe the best Bionicle hands I've seen yet.   Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie

(...) Thanks Allister! Those parts come in the new Toa Hordika sets. The bummer though is that there is only one per!! Yikes! It's basically the head piece. The mask attaches to it. Jeff (20 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Ball Joint Frame ZRX1 version

The double ball joints are very cleaver and the level of articulation is impressive. I had spent some time messing with the things awhile back and gave up due to lack of stiffness -- clearly you solved that problem. Brent (20 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
