  Re: BIG Site Update!

Glad you like my "upgraded" site, Pat! Regarding a LARGE four legged mecha... Why? You already built the definitive version of a large, four legged mecha. Why should I compete with an excellent talent like you! ;-) But seriously, I want to see how (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) plans (...) A FOUR legged mecha? In tiberian Sun (A computer game) there is a four legged mecha called a mommoth Mark 2. That would be interesting to see. (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: BIG Site Update!

Nice work Mladen. I would like to see you do a large 4 leg mech(a). Any plans like that? Pat J (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Preview of My Mecha Site!

I have finally put it all together. Lots of pics and two new animations. I'm planning on having a total of 6 models in this section, currently there are 4. I hope you enjoy, it took lots of work to put it together. The site is finished, I'll just be (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Yeah, the gun was the first thing I built. It also has an ammo clip and laser-sight. Glad you like it! (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: BIG Site Update!

One thing I always love to see is using pieces in unusual ways. I love the wrench used as a gunsight. Very cool. ~M (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: BIG Site Update!

Thanks Karim! I was inspired to do this after I saw how you made your website 100% POV-Ray renderings and because I couldn't stand seeing those God-awful pictures of my "Owl" AG Transport Craft. I'm so happy that I inspire you to build more, since (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: BIG Site Update!

Thanks Nathan! The "Butterknife" was just me fooling around with a few pieces. I don't wanna do a mini-fig version because I don't have that many pieces, and I couldn't be able to render such a big model. You can always try though... (...) (...) Mladen, Really nice work! You've got a great style with your models, and you've inspired me to build more things :) Unfortunately, I must resist the temptation and continue sorting my collection! :) --Karim (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  First two mecha designs

I posted two sets of photos for my first two mecha designs on brickshelf at: (URL) would like to thank everyone who posts here and who showed off some of their own works for inspiration in designing and building my own mecha. (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My first Mech

Just wrap a little piece o' Saran Wrap around the pin, and it'll tighten it up real nice. ~Mark (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My first Mech

(...) Hi Mark, Thanks for the comments. The Technic missle launcher thing is something I was doing with my trucks and tanks and stuff, so it just seemed natural to throw then on the mech. The pistons are functional, but on the next walker I build I (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My first Mech

(...) Hi Jude, Yes the Ttechnic 1x4s are missile tubes. The pilot sits in the box between the missile launchers. The cockpit is cramped, but has some detail. I took a picture of it, but that was rather crummy. when it comes to Technic beems, and (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My first Mech

Hi Greg, Looks like you've got a good start. I don't think I've seen anyone use technic beams to simulate missile ports as of yet, so that's a neat idea. The pistons on the legs are a nice touch. Are they functional? I also like the articulated (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  My first Mech

Hey everybody, Well I have the first really terrible totally fuzzy pictures of my first mech up on my little website. (URL) Check it out.
