  Re: "Golem" Droid Host Unit

(...) I feel a little sheepish about this reply, given that the Golem is the main focus of this MOC, but the building trick I'm taking away from your post is D'kareth's sidearm! I've always wondered what to do with that UFO part, and your solution (...) (20 years ago, 21-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Power Armor Mercenary Team

(...) Hey, thanks for the good grade, Lenny, it's cool to have you respond to one of my MOCs! I really have had a lot of fun with these power suits--they're simple enough that you can try several variations on colors and add-ons without running out (...)   Re: Power Armor Mercenary Team

(...) This whole project just reeks of fun! These little mecha just really snap! I love the possability each of these have. The team reminds me of old Voltron episodes. I'd love to see a comic or something similiar about these characters. Color (...) (20 years ago, 20-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: "Golem" Droid Host Unit

(...) The cool things kids do with Bionicle these days. Somehow I sense an immenient future when Bionicle pieces are officially 'accepted' within AFOL groups. MOCs like yours are simply too cool to not recognize what a cool theme Bionicle has been (...) (20 years ago, 20-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Power Armor Mercenary Team

Hello, all. I adapted my power armor design in four other variations, and built a whole power-armor squad. I've been reading Battletech novels, and I just read Heinlein's "Starship Troopers", so I invented a little backstory about a five-member (...)   Re: MSM-01

(...) I vote yes on the missle pod doors, I think they're cool. I like the way you hinged the front of the mech, it not only allows access, but the hinge joints break up squared corners in the torso. I just wish the top set of hinges were light gray (...) (20 years ago, 19-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: MSM-01

(...) Hey N-Dog. Thanks for the werdz. I didnt have this made at the time of the meetings. I have a sister model of this one now too. Its a blue variant also Robotech influenced. I kinda like the covers though. It keeps it Robotechish. If I could (...) (20 years ago, 18-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Moonbase Module - Mech Bay 06

(...) I "found" the time, because the creations are the source of my income. I have had food stuck to my Lego, I have slept on pieces without knowing it and when you-know-what is scored solely off of meeting during exhibits and shows, the answer is (...)   Re: Moonbase Module - Mech Bay 06

(...) Oh man thanks, I feel I should have taken better pics now! I'm glad you got the impression I tried to convey. (...) Right on, Mech Bay 7 is yet to come! e (20 years ago, 17-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: MSM-01

(...) Well done, F-Dog. I especially like the fact that you have a cockpit and very poseable, usable legs in such a compact design. This one wasn't at the last meeting - bring it next month, so I can break yet another one of your creations in my (...) (20 years ago, 16-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: UPMX Urban Parol Mecha - Experimental

(...) Hey...Fradel popped his own cherry and finally posted. Cool Mecha...I'm not really hip to the standards of articulation and building techinique of the genre, but I like what I see. Nice work. With some tips from the masters in this field (...) (20 years ago, 16-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Mecha Wampa

Luke would've been in so much trouble... (URL) The (URL) Wampa> was built for the ESB scenes with borrowed designs from the Mecha MOCs. Specific details on the joints, arms and fingers can easily be recognized as such. I don't know whose original (...)   Re: Z748

(...) Thanks Kyle. I was thinking water-spider when I built it, thus only four legs. (...) I try to keep my stuff as clean as possible. That's about the only thing I can say as far as a style. I think I'm going to rebuild this model. I'm nowhere (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  MSM-01

Hi guys. This is the other mecha I've been working on. The MSM-01, missile support mecha was developed to add a longer range, hardhitting punch for other mecha in combat such as UPMs. The dual missile pods are each capable of firing laser guided (...)   Re: UPMX Urban Parol Mecha - Experimental

(...) Hi Kyle. Yeah, the feet seem to be a fav from what I notice. I got the idea of that heavy feet/boot look from the battloids in Southern Cross and Veritech Alpha battloids from Mospeada. They certainly help for balance when I'm posing them. (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: UPMX Urban Parol Mecha - Experimental

Hi David. Can I call ya Dave? Thanks for the comments. I may just pick up a Gasaraki DVD cause I'm hearing it mentioned a lot now. Your hard suits rock, btw. I tried something like a hard suit some time back but that anime look evades me...so far. (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: UPMX Urban Parol Mecha - Experimental

(...) Hey, I like the feet. I've never tried to do flexing toes. That's an interesting solution. (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Z748

(...) I had to grin when I realized your hardsuit had more appendages than your spider mech! I still love that hardsuit, that thing kicks @$$... I like the Z748 too, it's low slung, and I like the forward lean you gave it. You accomplished the (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
