  Re: Blacktron Robots

(...) Nice setup! I really like the background a lot. As for the robots, it's a nice assortment. Good work! Terry (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mister Ham doesn't like you

(...) You are clearly insane. But I like the bot! Lots of character, and I like the color grouping. I don't mind the torso at all. And it's good to see someone testing the edges of decency on Brickshelf. Oh, and Mister Ham seems to enjoy hamming it (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Mister Ham doesn't like you

Here's a large bot that I made - i guess a robot is something that doesn't have a seat for a fig. I don't like his torso, so i'm open to suggestions on how to re-do it. (URL) Mister Ham> is generally irritable unless he has his cigarettes and a (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: TL-2 Chiron - New model

The new pics make this a much nicer model to behold! I love the slopes in the front that define it's overall shape-very nasal! ;) Excellent model all around. I tend to agree with Kyle on things like this-too many compromises are made, but I think (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Wow! Master Nakany does it again...

(...) You said it. The things Master Nakany gets Lego curved parts to do truly is inspirational. I'm also a fan of the suble placement of red throughout this one. time for a new desktop pic.... -D (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Side Bar Update - Soon

(...) Dave got a chance. :) (...) I'm looking forward to seeing it. I enjoyed your last one, but mech moonbases are too few and far between for my tastes. Has anyone besides you even attempted a mech bay? (...) Cool. It's up to date now, so unless (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Pictures of Blacktron Robots...

Hey People, Here's some new pictures of the galaxy's baddest robots: (URL) is the first time so many of my Blacktron robots have been photographed together. Enormous thanks to Chris Salt for sorting out these pictures... Feel the evil, Pete (20 years ago, 13-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Side Bar Update - Soon

(...) How about a mininfig-scale Maersk Liner? Big, beautiful, and 45" long... Oh, wait..I'm in the wrong group....need to head back to Train/town area... Scott Lyttle (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Wow! Master Nakany does it again...

Don't think he posts here at all, anything else I've ever seen (beautiful-SNOW robo Pod) was by accident. "KNIGHT-GIGANT" [Giant and heavy Knight like Tetsujin] (URL) I was looking at the "Recent folders" I thought it was a robo action figure (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Side Bar Update - Soon

Hey all, I'll update the side bar in a couple of days. Or if Dave gets a chance. I have been working on a Moonbase, and wow, its gonna be cool. I'll be back with pics and some sidebar action for the new builds as soon as I get a chance. Anyone wanna (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Project: Gundam Completed!

Hey, cool! I really like how you did them without ot many slopes. It's hard to use blocks like that and make it look good, but you did it. However, they do look a bit blocky. Some slopes, especially in the leg areas, would make it look better I (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Project: Gundam Completed!

(...) Hehehe, exactly! I'm by no means a lego purist, but I do love my 2x4's. Also, the RX-79 and RGM-79 have rather sharp lines anyway, they aren't your average Deathscythe/Wing Gundams. More 'military', I guess. (...) Thanks. The key to the head (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Project: Gundam Completed!

(...) Thanks. I've been playing around with ways to do that, but I don't have the right hinges right now, nor the cash to buy them yet. Hopefully that will be an upgrade soon though! Ry out (20 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: White Patrol Mech.

(...) Yeah the upper arms and upper legs are thin, but that's deliberate. I've got a theory about mecha proportions: It doesn't matter how much you exaggerate the scale of the various parts, but as long as the arms are in proportion to the legs, and (...)   Re: White Patrol Mech.

(...) Thanks Dave. I haven't done a piece count, but I suspect it'd probably be a bit high to hit that price point. Cheers, Allister (20 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: White Patrol Mech.

(...) Zoinks! (...) One of the few things that didn't change much as the design progressed. (...) Yeah, I know it's similar to what's gone before, but it fit, and I've never built one myself. (...) I wanted to use those dome pieces somewhere. I was (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Draconix - Two Headed Dragon Bot

(...) Left over parts? You must have twice as many white parts as most of us have parts! It always takes me a while to reply to your MOCs because I don't know what to say, except thanks for sharing them with us! I need to try putting some tire (...)   Re: White Patrol Mech.

(...) snip (...) Very cool! And a brand-new mini-hip design too! When I first looked at it, I thought, "why didn't he taper the waist down more", but then I saw you had a minifig pilot in that torso! Some parts are a little too thin for my taste, (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
