Jas, this is looking very cool. The suggestions I have are: The hips need some work, perhaps just adjust the hip skirts to give the illusion that they are a little wider or beefier. (...) I've found the best method of stiffening ball joints is to insert a small piece of paper between the ball and the socket. Fit it snugly in the socket, then snap the ball in otherwise it tears.
