Re: New Mecha: "Centurion" Officer Mecha

(...) Thank you Chris! (...) I greatly respect your opinions concerning colour schemes because you have always given me such feedback over the years. So yes, I think I overdid the brown/red colours. To tell you the truth though, I sorta like such (...) (20 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Darth Maul (bigger than) Mini-Land Figure

He's bigger. He's badder. He's Darth Maul. Check him out before he "splits!" (URL) I've gotten to the point where these things just can't be called mini-land figures anymore. But, that's ok: they're "Mike's Mini-Land" figures! It's just so much (...) (20 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !!

Re: New Mecha: "Centurion" Officer Mecha

Nice. I like the colors, but then, I'm a crazy man. I'm not feeling the mid-torso or the head. The cockpit just look beaky with that boom for the sensor sticking out. Perhaps if you moved the sensor pack down a couple of bricks. And what funky (...) (20 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Mecha: "Centurion" Officer Mecha

Woohoo! Finally, a biped mecha from one of my favorite builders! This model definately has your style in it. Everything from the different color scheme to the strange body proportions, to the arsenal of weaponry! I don't really find the color choice (...)   Re: New Mecha: "Centurion" Officer Mecha

(...) Ahhh... I see you are using the plate hinges, presumably with a brick with a technic hole + friction pin? I'm not a huge fan of those small ball joints, either; but some kind of ball joint makes a good ankle joint. I'm also dissatisfied with (...) (20 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mecha Fun

(...) Christopher Snead (...) 30 (...) I'm a scientist (Physicis and Planetary Science). I love to build things and I love to travel. Recently, I've been spending too much money on die-cast metal "Soul of Chogokin" figures. In the past, I've been (...) (20 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Mecha: "Centurion" Officer Mecha

(...) Hey Mladen! I'm always intrigued to see what's coming next from you. And for this latest installment, I'm pretty torn. I like the exaggerated "bigs and littles" on this one, like the huge feet and itty bitty waist, and I really dig the (...) (20 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: State of .mecha

Stuart is incredibly busy right now, but every now and then we exchange email. The subject came up and I asked if I could post his thoughts on the matter. Soren (20 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New Mecha: "Centurion" Officer Mecha

(URL) Click on Image It's been almost a year since I built my last (URL) bipedal mecha>! This time around however, I have finally succeeded in creating a posable mecha without those flimsy ball-joints. The result is surprising sturdy, and can accept (...)
