Re: TMC Concept Drop and Retrieval Ship

(...) OK, OK I know you are right but these are war machines. They should not look pretty, they should say "bring me a can of woop-ass and make it a double!" hehe (...) Thanks for your comments. (...) I was going to make instructions but since it (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: TMC Concept Drop and Retrieval Ship

(...) NO! One thing I've learned in the while I've been here is that any gray, white or black construction needs a "highlight color," preferably one that stands out. Black wouldn't be a good choice IMHO. Anyway, very nice looking ship you got there, (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: TMC Concept Drop and Retrieval Ship

(...) That is exactly my feeling on a couble of spots. The area aroung the cockpit, where the "scape pod / cockpit" meets the body, needs to be more rounded. I got some ideas for that. The back is a tough one but I think a couple of inverted wedges (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: TMC Concept Drop and Retrieval Ship

(...) Thanks Gil. (...) Hmmm... will explore. (...) Thanks. The main color theme of the Tieran Marines is Light Gray, Dark Gray, and black. Eventually I think the finished product will have those colors and not blue. I have not made up my mind yet. (...)   Re: TMC Concept Drop and Retrieval Ship

(...) Parts of this look excellent David, particularily the cockpit design with the canopy set into the brick 'tub'....the curved elements give in a wonderful shape. The swinging boom construction of the vtol jets are a great idea, but I think they (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha)

TMC Concept Drop and Retrieval Ship

Hello everyone. I have been working on dropship ideas for a while. I decided to "try out" some Dropship concepts and came up with Drop And Retrieval Ship DR01A. It is not fully finished but I wanted some constructive criticism from my fellow (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: GLAndroid

(...) Great idea using GLAGLA's armature, that is a great way to learn in my opinion. I have to say, your personal touches are awesome. Love the head! Using that cape was so clever. I have seen a lot of your work but never gave my two cents. When I (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: GLAndroid

(...) Jeff, I know I've seen some of your creations before (however, I've been a bit out of the loop on Lugnet in terms of replying to things), and, despite using the framework, this one is just as cool. The head design is SWEET! Neen and sleek. The (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  GLAndroid

Here's a little ditty I made up for a recent show I am currently having at work. It's a GlaGla body (I am learning by copying the master) but I changed out the minifig arm fingers for skeleton arm fingers. (URL) Go here for more pics: (URL) See! I'm (...)
