I guess I would have hoped the entries would have some hint of originality
i.e. a gla gla armature frame with an original skin, or something like that.
Getting a small army of black Gla frames identical to his instructions
doesn’t seem very interesting.

poses it in the exact same pose as one of Gla’s armature poses?

Then someone has entered an entry that probably neither origional nor inventive.

I guess I’m just ranting, as this is a pose contest, not a build contest.
And you do say the goal is to attract people to mecha....

Yeah, I hear you. I thought on this one and re-focused myself on what the goals
of the contest were. And who knows, maybe if someone starts by building a frame
from directions maybe they’ll go in thier own direction.
