Damn, I knew I should've gone out and bought one of those buckets in order
to get a picket fence :)  I could've won!  Heck, I was also hoping you'd go
by the number of each lame part used, as I have a great many of them in my
model.  Oh well.  It was still fun to try and build this crazy thing.

Here's to hoping the lame parts in the sets you're giving me will show up in
next year's contest!

Or if you'd bought Nick Bluetooth you could have walked away with it :)

Hah!  I almost used the Nick Bluetooth minilegs I got from the McDonalds
Happy meal promo baby Galidor thing, but since I wanted to keep the brown
and tan color scheme, I figured blue legs just wouldn't cut it. Ahh, well.

I did consider going by the quantity of each part, but I think the way I did
it encouraged using more different parts rather than relying on lots of a
particular one. Of course, you did both, but once I'd set the rules and the
competition was on I thought it would be unfair to revise them. I'll
probably revise them for next time though, in many new and interesting ways ;)

How about next time's has 4 categories:
Best looking model (same as this time)
Most different lame parts (same as this time)
Most lame part (singular) by sheer quantity (to encourage someone using,
say, 500 engine pistons in a creation)
Most lame parts total used (to finally give me a chance to win first place!)

I have no idea what'll be in the next parts list, but I am looking at my
son's Duplo collection with a raised eyebrow.

I'm sure we can dig up another round of ten lame parts.  We haven't even
delved into Jack Stone yet!

Cheers,
Allister
