| Well it has been just under a month since the (URL) JLUG> has gone online. Pleased to see such great response so far, with over 70 members, over 1200 posts (of course, most of them are mine and a few other bull horns, wink), and 12 entries in the (...) (21 years ago, 3-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

I don't object to your viewpoint (I think it would be really great if it DID work like Cafepress), I'm merely pointing out there are other equally viable and (simpler) alternatives to the way the Lego Factory might function.
