  Re: Civ. MOC contest: MG3k

(...) OH! Do you think he meant those?? -Those are the big and greedy airintakes that's supposed to be hollow and transport the air through the "runningboards" back to the enging (where they fan out to both engines, resembling classic runningboards (...)   Re: Civ. MOC contest: MG3k

Hi Niels, I saw this little space car on BrickShelf and found it very nice. But I agree with John about the big black slopes you use at the front end of the car, supporting the headlights : although they allow your ship to look like your inspiration (...)   Re: Civ. MOC contest: MG3k

(...) Thanks for the comments. I've tried that idea at an early stage in the buildingprocess, but discarded it to avoid the "broken nose" or "tractor" look, and went for the more pointy version to make it look faster, but I guess that the resulting (...)   Re: Civ. MOC contest: MG3k

(...) Yeah, sometimes it is normal. Comments/critiques? Well, this MOC might not get as many because it is rendered. But I'll tell you what I think. Looks cool, and pretty faithful to the original. Space cars are always nice. The details are cool, (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

  Re: Civ. MOC contest: MG3k

(...) I was actually hoping for some comments/critique... Is it normal that you actually have to ask for it in these forums? (I'm only asking because I don't know!) (22 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

  Civ. MOC contest: MG3k

Roo Mech - entry for The Great Breathe Life Into .loc.au competition

Here's my entry for the comp. Thanks for the extension Richie - I almost didn't need it :) I might do another one now. Pardon the lack of backstory, but it's late, I'm tired, and I'm just happy to get the thing finished, so please enjoy the pics. (...)   Announcing the MOCC

My Own Castle Competition. We are hereby happy to announce the official castle-building competition for the Castle Room at BrickFest 2004. The competition is pretty straightforward, but a lot can be done with it. It is the hope of the BrickFest 2004 (...)   Civilian Space moc contest entry - Space garbage truck

Hi all, Here's my entry in the contest. It's a garbage truck used for plucking defunct satellites and other space debris from orbit. (URL) It's a bit derivative, being part (URL) garbage ship, part Chris Giddens' PCS, and just a little bit Pete's (...)   Lame Parts contest (was Re: The Bar Does Not Go Down)

(...) I just went to Yahoo to see what was going on with that link and perhaps getting it reinstated. However, it seems that Yahoo no longer has free webpages for members. I did toss out the idea late last year for another run at the comp, but there (...) (22 years ago, 22-May-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

Brickfest Micro Moc Display and Contest

This is your chance to get creative, without breaking the Lego budget. It's my pleasure to let you know about the Micro Contest and Display! I'm calling out to ALL builders . . .   Re: Igor Last Quest (or my entry for the Booby Trap Contest)

Re: Igor Last Quest (or my entry for the Booby Trap Contest)

(...) I keep going back and watching this. There's something about how fast the ax chops and then the clean sweep of the floor that makes me laugh out loud. Well done. Felix (22 years ago, 3-May-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.robotics.rcx, FTX)

Re: Igor Last Quest (or my entry for the Booby Trap Contest)

(...) Fun! I like the double whammy of both the ax and then the removal floor. All you need now is someone to come around and clean the blood (do lego's bleed?) from the floor for the trap to be reset. Sliding trapdoor instead of a breakaway one is (...)
