Hi, My castle is almost 3 feet high and has octogonal middle tiers ((URL) Eiffel Tower has 4 sides, but they are bent progressively upwards (See the bottom of it here: (URL) and the top of it here: (URL) ) My new police station is 3 feet high (12 (...) Hi Brad! Thanks for the compliment. I like your town pics. Have you made any non-orthogonal designs (non 90degree)? My station is octagonal (not the top) and almost 5 ft high on a 3.25" base. (it was a CLSoW last August) Just wondering what the (...) (25 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

I'm using, (from the bottom up,) a 2x2 round gray plate, 3 full on brick Techic bushings pushed onto a 10 brick long Technic axle, with a 2x2 round trans-yellow (...) Interesting. You succeeded in using them in a merry-go-round like I wanted to originally (but failed). Interestingly enough, I gave up because I couldn't come up with a convincing base. Henry, Thanks for coming by to see my Eiffel Tower in person and for posting the message on Lugnet. The round plates where necessary because the width of the tower changes from an even number to an odd number, back to even and then odd. I had hoped (...)
