  4.5 Foot Tall Clock Tower

This is my latest LEGO architectural piece. It is a fictitious clock tower that is less than minifig scale. It is roughly 33 stories tall (four and a half feet) my tallest LEGO skyscraper yet. The clock is purely aesthetic, it does not function. It (...) (20 years ago, 25-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: Motivating CAD students to model LEGO (was prototyping)

(...) I am amazed that the architecture students would need any motivation to design with legos. Being an architect myself I cannot even fathom the thought! One suggestion would be to ask the students to try and model their previous projects using (...)   Motivating CAD students to model LEGO (was prototyping)

(...) Well, my Semester starts in two weeks, so if you have any tips I'm all for hearing them! My biggest problem is motivating the Architecture students in my group. The Engineers don't really care what they draw (a widget is a widget is a widget). (...)   Re: wishin' on a BIG star

(...) Some cool parts!!! Glad someone agrees with the flower thingys ;) I'd also like: 1x3 tiles... such a pain to have to use a 1x2 and a 1x1 when there is no stud to attach the 1x1 to (for example tops of certain fences (spindled) etc). 1x2x2 (...)   Re: wishin' on a star

(...) This part has already been spotted, but it's not quite the same design. She asked for a 3x3 33 degree triple corner slope (wow, I hadn't really noticed how 3-centric that part was...), but the one shown in the scan is a 4x4 18 degree triple (...)   Re: wishin' on a star

(...) Well, a lot of the pieces you showed would make sense to complete the Lego system. BUT we are talking of TLC, so waiting for a solution that would make sense is most propably a waste of time. Unless of course they would need one of the bricks (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

Anyone have instructions for set #309 (Church)?

I was looking for something on Peeron today and quite by accident stumbled upon this set: (URL) there are no instructions linked from Brickshelf. The design of the building struck me as interesting, especially when I saw the piece count for the 1x2 (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.inst)
