I finally finished this truck after working on it for a couple hours almost
every day for a week and a half.  The truck is approximately the same scale as
my 8 wide cars.  Before you mention that it's all studs up, look closer at
parts of the front grill, the fuel tanks, the spare tire holder, and a few
other spots...IMO, the key to successful SNOT is subtlety :)  The front wheels
are steerable, but they're not geared to any steering mechanism.
Without any further ado,

Enjoy!  Please rate the model.  I'm open to any comments, questions,
suggestions, etc.  If you would like any other views, or higher resolution
pictures, please let me know.

Amazing piece of work! Great work of detail for this rather small scale vehicle. The dashboard, seats and sleeping area look cool and very detailed, and even the engine looks like the real thing. As with all your models, everything is openable and (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

(...) G'day Bram, Wow, that's a wicked model! I especially like the details you put into the trailer doors..., I can say they're very realistic as that's the view of a rig that I most see on the highway! ;] My only two comments are: - the wheel size (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

(...) really cool uses for elements I hadn't thought of - love the silver spears as the posts supporting the rear view mirror hinges and the 1x2 rails you used for headrests. Are those light sabers on the front of the cab? Excellent detail on the (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

I like how the wheels are built, although they seem a little small. The doors on the trailer are amazing! I also like the power cords running from the cab to the trailer. Josh (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

Bram, Once again you show us how it should be done (ack, now 8 wide trucks seem to small...!). The trailer looks perfect (can't quite see... how does it attach to the tractor? Does it allow for vertical bending for hills??). I really would like to (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)
