The toy business is changing and after working for 5 years as an advanced
designer for a competitive brand ,I wouldn't want to work for LEGO
either. The fact that kids have had their play pattern changed over the years
bothers me. They are leaded into less construction time to finish purcased
sets and therefore can start playing faster. I dont agree with this because
for me the fun was in building my projects wich made it difficult for me to
share the vision my company had to develop in creating new building sets. I
wouldn't want to participate in futur toys elaboration procces because I
just dont find them interesting enough for my level of play.

| (...) Good question. As a master builder (not that they would have me)? No. I build in my way, and that probably wouldn't work for what they need to have done. The only caveat to that is: All those pieces...(insert Homer Simpson drooly sound here). (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jun-01, to lugnet.build)
