Interesting story, I guess with any big company there would be many
different positions. Working on the Graphic design area would be a very
cool job. TLC has always had great graphics.

My take is that TLC is so huge and foriegn owned that it's hard to get
in, plus every kid that grew up building Lego wants in, so I bet
there's alot of competition.

One other thing, sometimes I think a person like myself; making giant
Robots and showing them all over at art shows and community events is
doing Lego a bigger service than if I were to work for them.

That's an interesting point. Other companies have evangelists, basic
Joe Fan-Boy types to go out and spread the word (though Apple, the best
ones at this, have since disbanded the practice, except for Demo Days,
where anyone who wants too can go to Circut City, etc., and show off
for the public). LEGO Evangelist is a position many/most LUGNETters
would fall into well. Just a small stipend (or payment in bulk
bricks/sets, if you please) would be all that was needed to get many to
give up a Saturday for the cause (not that several of the train groups
and others aren't doing something similar now). Maybe I should xp this
to .dear-lego?
