There have been 6x24 plates, and 6x28 train bases (train base = two plates
high, not very connectable on the underside).

| 6x16, AFAIK - both plates with studs all over, and plates with studs only on the perimeter of 3 sides. Unless the grandstands are REALLY heavy, you can just surround the top of the locker room with 2x16 plates on 2 sides and misc plates on the other (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.build)
