6x16, AFAIK - both plates with studs all over, and plates with studs only on the
perimeter of 3 sides.
Unless the grandstands are REALLY heavy, you can just surround the top of the
locker room with 2x16 plates on 2 sides and misc plates on the other 2, and
have the grandstand plates sit on one row of studs all the way around. I built
a HUGE warehouse using baseplates for the roof, they sit on a 1 stud perimeter.
If the grandstands are heavy, just run some 1x16 bricks across the plate
perimeter as "girders", that will hold a TON of weight.

| I've been working on a stadium with the soccer stadium sets. I've decided that I need to elevate the grandstands to create a locker room for the teams below them. Currently the grandstands sit on 16 x 16 baseplates, which can't be used as the (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.build)
