With the recent thread regarding the various custom minifigs (Specifically
the Cobra ones) found on brickbay, it seemed like as good a time as any to
begin putting these pictures up. I've had them for a while, waiting on
inclusion in my regular webpage but my primary computer is ailing so that's
on hold atm. In the meantime I've begun posting the pics to my Brickshelf
account. :)

Yo Joel!

D'oh!

Excellent work.  The HISS was my first GI-Joe vehicle. :^)

I love the implementation of the troop cabin and I also appreciate that
you've made it so the cockpit hinges open.

Thanks, Admiral, sir. :)  I don't like that those canopies don't open
otherwise. I found it annoying. ;)

Ah, to have my Night Raven again. <wipes tear from eye>

Indeed! I got rid of a lot of the stuff I had, but I kept the few things I
REALLY liked - the Skystriker, Dragonfly, Whale (hovercraft), and a couple
of the VAMP jeeps and about 15 of my favorite figs (all the Snake Eyes
variants among others). But when I packed up and moved to Ohio, rather than
trying to figure out how to pack them up, I 'donated' them to a family
friend to give to their grandson. *sniff* Wish I hadn't done it now.. they'd
have been such inspiration for working things out in LEGO.

Speaking of inspiration.. there are some new WWII figures I've been noticing
at TRU lately.. I forget the brand but they're about the same size as 'Joes
were and they have a German Panther tank.. looks really good.. fortunately
it's NOT a King Tiger... if it were... I'd have to forgo the LEGO budget for
however long till I could save up for one..

Anyway..that's enough off topic drifting I s'pose.

Thanks again for the compliments.

Joel J
