| I've put the photos up on my redesigned website: (URL) slightly different from the one in the two pictures in my Brickshelf gallery, and there are of course many more pictures of it. Details include a winch, opening doors, 4 comfortable seats, (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.general, lugnet.announce, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.publish) !!

| Very nice. The detailing is fantastic and I especially like the unique use of pieces (eg. the headrests are classic). I think I lack the ability to think outside the "brick" for pieces; and, I believe that is what impresses and inspires me the most. (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

| (...) That one's a stroke of genius. Do you design for vroomability? This is the technical term for a model that can be used by a 4 year old for at least 60 seconds with no more than 4 parts coming off :-) Seriously, I think you should send a copy (...) | (...) I love the hummer. Got the specs down on paper for those of us who could never create one of our own? The site I have problems with because I use Netscape. You really should make it work for all browsers so we can enjoy ever pic on the site. (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

| (...) Thanks! Detailing is my favorite part :) (...) I actually got the idea for the headrests here: (URL) I hadn't seen that, I probably would have just used a 1x1, 1x2 tile, or 1x1 tile with clip. (...) I think thinking outside the brick, as you (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

| (...) Thanks! (...) Yes, I always build my models as strongly as possible. I prefer that all parts, especially angled sections, be secured in at least two places so that they can't move from their intended positions. (...) Ok, I've sent emails to a (...) | (...) I'll CAD the model before I take it apart, but I don't know when that will be. (...) Netscape 4.x (is that what you are using?) does a terrible job at implementing style sheets. It looks fine in Netscape 6 or IE 5. My style sheet does no (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.publish)

| (...) Yeah..I am using 4.7 right now. Been thinking about installing 6. I have heard there are fewer problems with 6 now than back when I tried the beta. (...) I got the Javascript message just fine. I just ignored it and went into the site anyways. (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.publish)

| (...) Netscape 6 is not perfect yet, but it's much stabler and faster than the beta. It displays pages much faster and nice than 4.7, in my experience. However, I keep a copy of both on my machine because 6 seems to have some problems with (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.publish)

| (...) Nice model. The web site design is interesting, but I really get annoyed at web sites which force one to the absolute latest browser. I always wonder whether a site REALLY needs to use the new gee whiz features of the new browsers. With the (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jan-01, to lugnet.publish)

| (...) The thing is, my website looks fine (AFAIK) in any browser except Netscape 4.x with style sheets on. For some reason, Netscape 4.x just does a terrible job implementing CSS. I really don't feel like coding hacks around Netscape 4.x's (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jan-01, to lugnet.publish)
