Actually the payload doors do open and close. I have a few shots of them
open while the orbiter was under construction.

What they don't do however is open and close very easily - I'm still
battling some warpage problems there.

I built the transporter mainly out of my old childhood bricks -
which is why it is a little dingy looking (perhaps this improves
it's appearance?) and the color scheme isn't perfect.

This shuttle is my first post-darkness MOC, but years ago I built
smaller ones primarily using parts from my classic space sets.
The LL928 license tag seemed like a perfect homage.
