Yep! But the other shock cylinders in the set, are they of the softer
kind? So there's two kinds of shock suspenders in the set?

No, there is one in the 8417 set as well.

It also looks like the 8448, which is due this year, has the same shock
cylinders for the front suspension. There's only one per front wheel,
so I assume the extra "stiffness" of the cylinder makes up for that.
But it remains to see what kind of front suspension system the 8448
has. It's probably something quite new. Or perhaps it's the same as in
8858? Or in 8865?

| (...) Yes, 2 softer ones and this 1 stiffer type. (...) I don't quite remember how 8858 was different. The 8865 system would make sense, as it will allow for any large-enough-diameter tire, rather than the 8880 specialty - which is of course not (...) (26 years ago, 20-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)
