I agree that with the micromotor and geared motor, motorizing is much
easier. I, too, used to build big cars using two of the ungeared motors.
Sometimes I would succeed in building a car that wasn't too heavy to move,
but I still needed 12 AA batteries since I had no polarity switches...

Which is why I need to learn how to drive a stickshift, and go rent a
sportscar in Europe :)

Yup, it took a bit of experimenting to get good results. Turned out that a
shutter speed of 1/2 - 1 second and an aperture of 3.5 worked pretty well
for the lighting I had.
