Since all traveller deck and building plans were 1.5 meters per square this is
the standard I used.  Now the question is...In minifig scale, how many studs
would represent 1.5 meters?  Any help would be appreciated.

To sum up, there's 2.75 bricks per meter, thus there are 4.125 bricks per 1.5
meters.  If you want to fudge a little to make the conversion simpler, 4
bricks per 1.5 meters is probably close enough.
