    Enhancing landing gear —Drew Lawrence
   I built a very large & detailed model of a B-1B Lancer. It comes loaded: power windows, bucket seats, AM/FM radio......just kidding. =) My problem is this: Although the landing gear can support the weight of the bomber, it is still quite fragile. (...)    (...) use a locking mechanism that will prevent the gear from being pushed up by the weight alone. (see 8480, or 8425 for some nicely done ones for just such purposes) got any pictures? :) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.build)

     (...) Black hawk is 8425 and 8480 is the space shuttle. if you do a search for sets on lugnet's main page, it will provide you with info for them... along with pictures. (24 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.build)

   Drew, If you are new you might not know about this *very* useful link. If you already know, there might be others who could benefit form an ability to decode LUGNET conversations of all the numbers that get thrown around. Soooo... From the LUGNET (...)
