I built a very large & detailed model of a B-1B Lancer. It comes loaded: power
windows, bucket seats, AM/FM radio......just kidding. =)
My problem is this: Although the landing gear can support the weight of the
bomber, it is still quite fragile. The nose gear folds foward into the nose. If
the bomber moves at all, the nose gear collapses.
How can I enhance my nose gear? What is the best to do working landing gear?
Thanks....

| (...) use a locking mechanism that will prevent the gear from being pushed up by the weight alone. (see 8480, or 8425 for some nicely done ones for just such purposes) got any pictures? :) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.build)
