Yes, I tried gearing it down, but the new gear motor turns so slowly that
"gearing" it down reduces the output of the pistons. And the old motor
tends to slip using rubber bands with two pisons. :-(
Its not that noisy, but I found using the "white" slip gear was even
noisier. The gear motor itself is pretty noisy!
Thanks for the feedback. It may never find its way into a model because
of its size, I just wanted to see if I could do it...
