    1999 Technic —Kevin Loch
Has anyone else noticed that the 1999 Technic line is extrordinaraly good? Just about every set has a good design and lots of useful new pieces. Not since the space shuttle in 1996 has there been a technic set I actually wanted to own, now they're (...) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: 1999 Technic —Scott Edward Sanburn
I am thinking about getting that Supercar, and I am not even a Technic "head". :) Based on the discussions regarding bulk orders and TLG's internal processes, getting different groups to talk to each other sounds almost impossible. Scott Sanburn (...) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

        Re: 1999 Technic —Matthew Miller
(...) Yeah, I agree. So far, I've liked everything I've seen. Last year's sets were pretty weak, so it's nice to see things go against the general trend. (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

Oh, I almost forgot, don't forget that Jeroen Ottens is from the technic Group design team, 7 - 16, I believe. Maybe TLG is starting to listen a little! :) (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

        Re: 1999 Technic —Selçuk Göre
I don't agree. Considering last year, it is maybe, but I can't call it extraordinarily good. Just look at the sets available in 1995,1996 and even 1997, so you might see my point. 1995: 8812 Aero Hawk I ( helicopter) 8816 Off Road Rambler (small (...)      Heck, 8440 is one of my alltime favorite non-Octan sets! It looks especially nice rebuilt in black and yellow, both the main and secondary models ;-) (...) -- | Tom Stangl, Technical Support Netscape Communications Corp | Please do not associate my (...)
