    Anyone tried to build a Coke machine? —Leanne Opaskar
   I am in the process of building a train station, and decided I wanted to add a Coke machine. Minifigs get thirsty out here in the desert, ya know. (: Has anyone tried to do this before? I've got a general concept -- use the 1x2x3 (I think) window as (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jun-99, to lugnet.build)

   (...) Cool! (...) Maybe you can make a mechanism inside that, when it's tilted down to serve the soda, blocks the hole above at the same time.    First off, thanks for the advice, folks! (: I messed around with the Coke machine for a while but couldn't get the mechanical bits to work right. I am debating re-attempting it with a spring mechanism, but I think the springs I have are too long. (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

   (...) Yeah, I don't think springs would work. Because of the scale involved, simpler is often better.
