  Lego DD Lighthouse

Well I have given Lego Digital Designer a try and build a virtual lighthouse. Personally I found the tool somewhat frustrating at times. I used the 2005 Factory brickset which is quite limiting... but that just adds to the fun. I modeled my (...) (21 years ago, 19-Mar-05, to lugnet.build)

How to do Long Wheelbase 4-Wheel Wagons with Turning Wheels

I have some long wheelbase wagons (8x32) with four wheels, which turn on the curves. Here's a new pic of how it's done: (URL) This is the wagon the right way up: (URL) On the lower wagon in the underside picture, which goes last in the train, the (...)   Re: Octagonal building technique: help!

I used the parts linked above to make some octagonal towers in a large castle MOC I built recently. At the bottom, I attached two opposite sides (parallel) to the supporting pieces below the tower, and then let the other 6 sides "float", just (...) (21 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: A small car

(...) It's a solid first attempt. I'd recommend using tiles on some of the studded surfaces if possible. Spoilers are tough. I haven't come up with a satisfactory solution beyond the big racing type spoiler found on my Mustang. For detail, I think (...) (21 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.build)

  Removing dots from baseplates

I know this is a bizarre request but has anyone had any luck with removing the white dots from certain baseplates? I have a quantity of the 48x48 green baseplates with soccer field dots and I want remove the dots. I was thinking laquer thinner but (...) (21 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Octagonal building technique: help!

(...) On that note, there's a few particular sizes of 45 degrees that work well enough within Lego tolerances. Like, a 45 degree wall of length 7, 17, 24, 33, or 41 will all join up with the hinges Ondrew mentioned, and be pretty darn close to (...) (21 years ago, 12-Mar-05, to lugnet.build)

  Octagonal building technique: help!

I am in the process of creating a building that has eight sides. Four of them were easy to create as they are either perpendicular or parallel to each other. The problem is with the other four sides.
